About the Point Prim Lighthouse Society
Our Society
The Point Prim Lighthouse Society was incorporated in 2011. The Society took possession of the lighthouse from the Department of Fisheries in January 2016.
Since then we have taken great pride in improving and maintaining the lighthouse and its surrounds, including a new Keeper’s Cottage.
Mission Statement
The Point Prim Lighthouse is a non-profit society committed to:
Protect the heritage character of the lighthouse and its surrounds through diligent management and conservation practices.
To promote its history and to sustain its cultural value to Prince Edward Island.
