Lighthouse Tour Guides (seasonal)
Point Prim Lighthouse is hiring for the 2025 Season. Adults and students are encouraged to apply. Work at PEIs oldest lighthouse, engage our locals and tourists alike while sharing incredible landscapes and fascinating history.
The applicants for these roles should have an aptitude for conversation, should be available to work 5 days a week on a rotating schedule over all days of the week, be willing and able to work in a fast paced environment where all job tasks are shared. They should have their own transportation to our location. They should be prepared to be part of a close, hardworking team, be a positive influence to all, and contribute to a peaceful, diverse and fun atmosphere.
Open hours will be within 9AM -6PM. The season will open May 16th and go through to the end of October for adult applicants. Students will be employed from Canada Day to Labour Day with opportunities for additional days before and after the peak season pending availability. Starting wages for students will be $16.00, and $18.00 for adults with consideration of experience.
Work history with Square, and multilingualism is an asset. Point Prim Lighthouse is an equal opportunity employer.

Physical Demands
Climbing of steep stairs for several stories

Education and Experience
Previous retail experience an asset (but not required)
Will train on our Square Point of Sale system
